[S]ushi and [S]ashimi

Today we will be looking at 2 of my favorite places to go just for Sashimi and other Japanese food, I guess its convenience vs quality I guess?

First up we have the all-famous Genki Sushi:

I especially loved their iPad ordering system because it is really simple and convenient to use! Also you don't have to ask the service staff if any of the above items are unavailable because it will show on the iPad!

My go-to order would be the Seared Salmon with Pollock Roe which is one of the best sellers there, also I would order their Salmon Don which is a rice bowl with Salmon Sashimi and Salmon Roe.

The Seared Salmon with Pollock Roe is really amazing because it is creamy, rich with a blend of the light taste of the salmon it self. Also the Salmon Don is really good as the rice had a lot of flavour and the Salmon was really "melt in your mouth" and the roe was probably the highlight of the Salmon Don as every bite left the roe bursting in your mouth which is really an explosion of happiness.

Tampopo Singapore

Next up we have another one of my favourite places in Singapore to eat which is Tampopo Singapore, boy this place serves one of the best Otoro in Singapore (nothing can beat Japan), the price might be a bit daunting but nonetheless its worth a bang for a buck,

they serve from a range of bentos to dons to sashimi and they are all really of good quality. I basically ordered the best of all worlds which is their Super Deluxe Box and ala-carte Otoro Sashimi:

I forgot to take photos of the Otoro sashimi because I was too hungry oops, so well the Super Deluxe Box came with a taste of everything from Chiraishi Don to tempura and soba it was a good mix of everything and it was really satisfying because though there was a mix, the quality was still maintained. However, the Otoro sashimi was on a next level as it was really fatty and melt in your mouth sashimi, and it left you wanting for more definitely. You have to eat it to believe it.
