Gooooooood morning Vietnam!!

Today we bring you down to the land of Pho (literally) to experience the goodness that is beef noodles.

The restaurant that we shall be reviewing today is Pho Street (see what i did there?)

Although it might not be the real Vietnam experience, but the decor and look of the store really made us feel like we were in Vietnam, even for a little while.

Inside we were immediately greeted by the all-too familiar aroma of beef noodles (commonly known as pho)

As you can see, fine rice noodles are commonly used as noodles in the dish. In Vietnam the restaurants usually garnish their dish with a little bit of mint leaves to give that extra 'Zing' in the flavor.

Overall the broth, which was cooked with the beef and its oil, was still not too oily. The beef was well cooked, however the garnish could use some presentation.

Next up was the summer roll. Evident from the picture, the summer roll is jam packed with shrimps and chicken and vegetables (and a stick of course). Priced at $8.9 before GST it really gives people a run for their money. The bite has a mixture of vegetables, shrimps and chicken and that is why there's goodness in every mouth that will make you go wow!

Food: 3/5

Price: $$$ ($20 for a single meal and side dish)

Visit www.phostreet.com.sg for more details on operating hours and outlet locations.
